Discovery in the camp

Amidst aridity and famine, she waited while the child in her arms slept, dying.

Flower on the Water

Took her life and threw it off a cliff

Flower on the water drifting Idle, assembled friends, strangers and guests.  There was her boat, but where was the child.
No Escape

Ruminations of lifer

I've lost a great deal.  I sleep at night and sleep deeply.  But I do not dream anymore.  Not even my old nightmares.

For us "microstories' are roughly 300-1000 words able to be read in about 2-5 minutes. I started writing microstories long before Twitter entered the biosphere.
